Waterfall Cottage is a most attractive and pleasantly situated cottage, sitting well above a waterfall on the Melgam Water, which flows out of Lintrathen Loch. Dating from the mid 1800s it was originally a farm cottage. It was extended in the 1950s with the addition of what is now the kitchen, and then again in 2003 when the dining room was added, which together with its balcony overlooks the river below.
