Good Tuesday morning! Italian Alps! A cozy, completely renovated cabin with jaw-dropping views in Crodo, Alpe Deccia, Italy.
This cabin is small, with a cozy living area with huge fireplace, lofted bedroom, and bathroom. I feel like nestling in here during a winter with a stack of books and a writing project would be the perfect escape! I love the classic alpine furnishings, with furniture in pine and the red and white gingham touches, so cute. However in contrast to properties in the French or Swiss Alps, this cabin is far more affordable! The property is solar powered and comes partially furnished.
I have enjoyed looking up these locations on YouTube (I hope you enjoy it too?), so here is a peek at the gorgeous nature and history in Crodo, Italy:
From the listing on Immobiliare:
Completely renovated cabin located at Alpe Deccia, an enchanting pasture at 1600 meters above sea level, easily reachable in summer by car and in winter by snowmobile via the consortium road.
The cabin, of 60 square meters, is arranged on two levels and is composed as follows: On the ground floor living area with kitchenette equipped with stove and oven, wood stove, fireplace as well as a storage room and a small outdoor area of the property paved with wooden planks; Upstairs sleeping area with two beds and full bathroom with small tub.
The light and the boiler for hot water production are provided by a photovoltaic system, as there is no electricity. The cabin, the subject of a recent and careful renovation, is sold partially furnished and equipped and is a real gem.
