Happy Monday, Escapists! This garden!! A stunning period property with separate gite and wonderful garden, located in Normandy, France!
The listing doesn’t say how old this home is but I suspect it dates back several hundred years at least. Such a cozy little cottage! The interior has been updated to standards of modern comfort, but it still has the feeling of living in a 16th century-period property. Perhaps due to the amazing kitchen garden full of raised beds! I feel a chicken coop and a rabbit hutch would be very appropriate additions!
From the listing on Leggett:
A large house with plenty of reception rooms, a successful gite and several outbuildings with lots of potential, a vegetable plot, a sunny terrace, a courtyard and views across the valley and woodlands. The property enjoys an enviable location in a popular village of the Swiss Normande, with a strong community around the local chateau.
