Happy Bargain Friday! A 16th century stone cottage in the heart of a “Village du Charme” in Le Vieil Baugé, in the Loire Valley, France. This is just the most charming little house!

The house is accessed of a small cobbled lane behind the church. The front entrance gives access to the large sitting room with magnificent fireplace and oak staircase leading to the various floors. There is also another exterior door leading to the stone stairs which descend to the pretty courtyard. There is a gated access to a a small cobbled lane at the rear of the property.

The kitchen is at the basement level. It is in need of refreshing but is a very practical size and there is also a WC and wash basin.
