Good Wednesday! Something about this old French family home dating back to 1830 made me fall in love with it. There’s something about the feeling of the interior photos that make it feel like it’s a well-loved place with many fond family memories.
The house is located in the village of Marval, near a chateau and forest walks. The garden is large and pretty. I can’t put a finger on exactly why I like this house (there are SO many beautiful houses in France) but I simply do! What make a house a home to you?
From the listing on Leggett:
This beautiful and historic property is full of French style and elegance. Contained within the large and light rooms are high ceilings, fireplaces and stunning period features. It has been a well loved family home for generations. Neighbouring the chateau and church, it is in the centre of a charming village and within the national park. There is a petite and pretty garden with an elevated view and a private courtyard from where you can enjoy the morning sun. You’ll find a real sense of history here, a very special and beautiful place.
