Happy Bargain Friday! I hope you enjoyed this week focused on fascinating and dreamy business properties for sale! There are so many more out there, it’s hard not to post all of them.
Today’s property represents a real dream of mine! Wouldn’t it be lovely to run a small, homely café and bar with a cozy craft shop in the back, in a beautiful medieval town in France, on the cathedral square?
This café is an existing business currently rated 4/5 stars on Trip Advisor (link here). I would love to redesign the interior a bit to strip it back and add in my own point of view, but I like the current vibe a lot. What a cool opportunity to do something fun and totally different!
From the listing on Leggett:
The restaurant consists of an outside terrace (with an awning) that can have up to 4 tables on one side of the street and 6 tables on the other side. The restaurant and the kitchen (60m²) are one big room and currently has 9 tables indoors. The kitchen is open plan on the left hand side. Behind the restaurant area is a second room ( 60m²) currently used as a crafts shop and teaching area. The current owner of the business combines the two together and the clients are regular customers. Behind the crafts shop is an office and stairs leading down into a cellar ( 25 m² ). The business has been completely redecorated and is a very friendly and welcoming. They currently only sell organic teas, organic foods and even their ice cream is bio! The business is sold with a licence three which means they can sell any drinks apart from spirits.
Moissac is a beautiful town with the canal and the river Tarn running through it. It also has a cathedral and a very old abbey that is visited by thousands of people every year. The restaurant is only a 8 minute walk from the train station and is situated in the heart of Moissac. A lovely small friendly business that could be yours in the historical town of Moissac!
