Good Monday morning! This stunning New England farmhouse on 72 acres of land is giving me perfect fall feelings today! This was actually posted by Circa in October 2018 but lovely follower @french.blessings submitted it for a feature, as it is still for sale! This house is a lovely daydream – can you imagine taking a walk through the autumn colors or sitting by the fire with some knitting and tea? I love the substantial windows, and that kitchen might be my platonic ideal of all kitchens! It’s absolutely beautiful. Exactly what I want to look at on a Monday morning 🙂
Circa wrote this house up beautifully, but here is the blurb from the listing on Zillow:
Step back in time to the days of keeping rooms, wide plank floors, fireplaces in dining rooms, gorgeous pastoral fields and babbling brooks. This fabulous estate has so many amazing original details. The antique double front doors open to ensure cross breezes on warm days. There is a guest cottage for artists, photographers, or, guests. A first floor master suite is rare in an antique home as is a first floor laundry and the master bath has a jetted tub. The screened porch is perfect for enjoying the Summer air and eating al fresco. There are built-ins everywhere and loads of closet space. An old corn crib, functional equipment sheds, and antique red barns offer all the space a working farm needs. The ag exemption is an added bonus. There are appr. 50 of the 72 acres cleared.
