18th Century Water Mill Next to River Durdent – Vittefleur, Normandy, France – $228,181

Good Tuesday morning! Imagine waking up to the sound of rushing water right outside of your window – and lulled to sleep every night. This charming 18th century water mill for sale in Normandy, France is right next to the River Durdent. What a beautiful place! The photo with the water rushing in the morning light pulled my heartstrings enough that I had to post about it today.

Per the listing, this was an operational mill for a century, but became a residential dwelling after electricity became common in 1921. It is cozy and well-maintained inside, with a cottage feel. There are two bedrooms with possibility to convert a small room to third bedroom. It is only 7km to the beach Veullets-sur-Mer.

Listing is located (in French) here.
